J’exerce la profession d’Assistante Maternelle Agréée à Saint-Raphaël, depuis 1999. Je n’ai pas choisi cette activité professionnelle par nécessité mais par vocation. En effet, la filière étudiante que j’ai suivie ne me destinait pas à cette « carrière ». Mais après la naissance de mes deux premiers enfants, et grâce au soutien de mon époux, je me suis décidée à aménager notre maison en « petite crèche » afin de travailler à mon domicile. Bon nombre de personnes pensent qu’être « Nounou » n’est qu’une simple occupation rémunérée. Il n’en est vraiment rien : c’est un véritable métier avec d’énormes responsabilités !

Gage de mon sérieux et de mon professionnalisme, je détiens un agrément (délivré par le Conseil Général du Var et la P.M.I) pour la garde simultanée de 4 enfants. Ma maison ainsi que mon jardin sont entièrement sécurisés, au normes édictées par la P.M.I. Tout au long de ces 25 dernières années (période durant laquelle j’ai gardé un grand nombre d’enfants dâges divers, variant de 3 mois à 5 ans) , j’ai acquis une expérience certaine qui me permet de faire face à de nombreuses situations y compris les plus complexes et imprévues. Pendant mes heures de travail, toute mon attention est destinée aux enfants dont j’ai la garde et ce jusqu’au

retour des parents. De plus, mon métier d’Assistante Maternelle ne se résume pas à surveiller les enfants. En effet, j’occupe ces derniers par le biais d’activités adaptées à l’âge de chacun (lecture de comptines, dessin, puzzle…).
Mais, il y a encore beaucoup de points à aborder et choisir une Assistante Maternelle pour son enfant n’est pas chose aisée. C’est la raison pour laquelle il faut prendre le temps de la réflexion, poser toutes les questions qui semblent nécessaires et si besoin, ne pas hésiter à prendre ou reprendre rendez-vous avec la future « Nounou » de vos enfants.

Native de Saint-Raphaël dans le Var, j’ai aujourd’hui 53 ans et je suis Assistante Maternelle depuis plus de 25 ans.

C’est à l’Institut Pigier de Cannes que j’ai suivi mes études, pour atteindre le Niveau Bac + 2 (Action Commerciale)

Je suis mariée et mon époux dirige sa propre entreprise de maintenance et dépannage en informatique : AED Informatique à Saint-Raphaël.

Nous avons 3 enfants : 2 filles (28 ans et 26 ½ ans) et un garçon (20 ans).

Je ne fume pas et je fais du footing 3 fois par semaine (à mon rythme…!).

J’aime les animaux mais nous n’en possédons plus aujourd’hui.

J’exerce le métier d’Assistante Maternelle depuis 1999 et j’éprouve toujours autant de plaisir à m’occuper de jeunes enfants.

Il consiste à aider les enfants, dont j’ai la garde en l’absence des parents, à grandir et à devenir autonomes. Pour autant, je n’ai pas le désir et encore moins la prétention de remplacer les parents. Seuls ces derniers connaissent bien leur enfant. Il faut d’ailleurs que les parents prennent le temps de me fournir le maximum de détails quant aux habitudes de leur enfant.

Munie de ces éléments, patiente et à l’écoute de chacun, j’arrive à établir un climat de confiance au sein duquel chaque enfant peut évoluer sereinement. Je suis très proche des enfants et, forte de mon expérience acquise depuis ces 25 dernières années, j’arrive à les « cerner » rapidement, ce qui me permet de m’adapter facilement à leurs personnalités respectives.

Néanmoins, chez moi, comme chez la plupart des parents qu’il m’a été donné de rencontrer, il existe des règles. Aujourd’hui, cela peut paraitre dérisoire aux yeux de certains mais j’attache beaucoup d’importance à la politesse, à l’hygiène et à la notion de respect. Tous ces sujets et bien d’autres points aussi sont abordés lors de notre entretien à mon domicile…
